How to Install Your Pipe Brackets Shelf

What You'll Need

• Drill and suitable drill bit

• 2 industrial pipe brackets (included)

1 Choose the Shelf Position

Decide where you would like your shelf to be installed. Use a tape measure and spirit level to determine the correct height and position, ensuring there is enough space for the shelf and its brackets.

2 Mark the Bracket Fixing Points

Position both pipe brackets underneath the shelf to establish suitable spacing. Hold the brackets against the wall and mark the screw holes through the circular mounting plates. Use a spirit level to ensure both brackets are correctly aligned.

3 Drill the Fixing Holes

Drill the marked positions using a drill bit appropriate for your wall construction and selected fixings. Make sure the holes are correctly positioned and deep enough for the wall plugs or anchors being used.

4 Insert the Wall Plugs

Insert suitable wall plugs into the drilled holes where required. Ensure each fixing is fully seated and appropriate for your wall type. Different fixings may be necessary for plasterboard, masonry or timber stud walls.

5 Install the Pipe Brackets

Position the circular wall plates over the prepared fixing holes and securely fasten both industrial pipe brackets using suitable screws. Ensure the horizontal pipes extend outwards from the wall and the top support plates face upwards. Check that both brackets are level, securely fixed and correctly aligned.

6 Position and Secure the Shelf

Carefully place the solid wood shelf onto the two pipe brackets. Centre the shelf and check that it sits level. Secure the shelf to the top support plates from underneath using appropriately sized wood screws, ensuring the screws do not penetrate through the top surface.

7 Check the Installation
